Formerly Johnni Dahl Art Academy — Still Creative, Now Even More Intentional

For years, I’ve had the honor of teaching creative kids (and adults!) how to express themselves through digital art, fashion, storytelling, and design. What started as Johnni Dahl Art Academy has now evolved into something more intentional and deeply rooted — welcome to The Cozart School.

This school is named in honor of my paternal grandmother, Wilma Cozart — a woman whose grace, creativity, and quiet strength continue to inspire the way I teach and build community. She believed in nurturing my creativity by doing, beauty in everyday things, and making space for people to grow in their own time. That’s the heart of everything we do here.

This rebrand is about clarity, mission, and growth.

We’re building a school where creativity isn’t just encouraged — it’s the foundation. At The Cozart School, we believe art is more than a subject. It’s how students process the world, build confidence, and make real-life impact.

 What We’ve Learned from Outschool and Wyzant

We’ve taught thousands of students through platforms like Outschool and Wyzant, and those experiences shaped who we are today:

• Outschool taught us how to create engaging group environments for creative kids.

• Wyzant showed us the power of deep, focused 1:1 instruction with students and professionals alike.

• Both taught us that creativity thrives when students are trusted with their own pace, creative ideas, and process.

Now, we’re bringing all of that under one roof — our own.
